The objective of this project is to determine the degree of cardiac re-innervation with multiple measures of heart-brain and heart-peripheral system integration over time in a transplant population ranging from year 1 to year 16 post-transplantation. Likewise, this study will address the cardiac and cerebral bases of interoception in this group of patients. The experimental protocol will include interoception tests, as well as measures of sympathetic, parasympathetic and cerebral activity. The obtaining of multiple measures of heart-organism integration will have a direct applicability to the clinical description, evaluation and follow-up of these patients. At the same time, this project will allow the evaluation of the relationship between cardiac re-inervation and interoception capacity.
